Kid Cudi

All these tracks rumored to be on Cudi's soon to be released album, Man on the Moon II Nov. 9th. After the first listen to them I can tell you that the album is gonna be a huge hit. Same Cudi style, awesome hooks, marijuana, lots of emotion running through these songs. Take a listen and get ready for the moon man to show up big in the charts on Nov. 9th.

"1000 Feet" - 9thmatic Featuring Big Remo & Khrysis

The famous producer takes his turn on the mic on this new track. Nice to hear what the man behind so many huge songs has to say.

"The Show Goes On" - Lupe Fiasco

Here goes the first single off of Lupe's upcoming album  "Lazers". A little Modest Mouse influence and Lupe's unique style....I like it.

MASHUP Kanye x Cudi x B.I.G.

Take Kanye West's single, "Gorgeous", off of his upcoming album that happens to have a hypnotizing chrous from Kid Cudi and replace the verses with Notorious B.I.G.'s work from "Party and Bullshit" and you have the above track. Really makes you wonder what kind of amazing music could have potentially been put together if artists like these were in the game at the same time.

"White Moon" - Beach House (Jaques remix)

The Baltimore native duo of Beach House gets one of their newest singles off of their 5th EP remixed by the Dubstep DJ from Texas. Turns out pretty good given that I wouldn't have expected it at all. Perfect for a slow evening to come down from a long Tuesday. One more day closer to the weekend kids.

"Stop Hey" - Sunday Girl x Rusko

Rusko makes his own work out of the UK singers "Stop Hey". The electro-pop style of Sunday Girl aka Jade Williams works well for Rusko on this track as he speeds it up a bit for the kids. Enjoy.

Electric Zoo Festival 2010...this tribute is overdue...better late than never.

Once upon a Labor Day weekend in 2009....There was an amazing event on Randall's Island in NYC. Myself and three of my close friends attended this event. It changed our lives. We made a voyage back to this island for 2010 and it was even better. A plethora of amazing DJ's, a surplus of flashing lights, all types of treats for chemical enhancement of the brain, and two back to back days of 27,000 people from across the globe dancing their asses off for 12 hours. This my friends, is Electric Zoo. Rumor has it that it will be 3 days in 2011. I for one know I will be there. Will you?

"What It Look Like" - Spank Rock [Todd Edwards Mix]

Here goes Todd Edwards' mix of "What it Look Like" originally by Spank Rock. The UK DJ mixes in his own dubstep/club flavor into this track with the always colorful style of Spank Rock. Take a listen to the mix, you will enjoy it.

"30 Minutes to New Orleans" - Lil Wayne

This is coming off of Mack Maine's "The Laxative" mixtape. Somehow the man has been in jail for almost a year and still is one of the most praised rappers in the game. Recently got the number 7 spot on MTV's top ten rapper's this year. Pretty good for sitting in a jail cell the whole time.

"Dark Fantasy" - Kanye West **also tentative setlist for album**

Newest single released the same day as the Runaway video. This is the opening song from the short film and is my personal favorite. The beat is just too raw. This is also rumored to be the first song on the upcoming album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" which the tentative set list was released for. It is as follows:

1.    Dark Fantasy
2.    Gorgeous (feat. Kid Cudi & Raekwon)
3.    Power
4.    All of the Lights
5.    Monster (feat. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Bon Iver)
6.    So Appalled (feat. Jay-Z, Pusha T, Cy Hi Da Prynce, Swizz Beatz & RZA)
7.  Devil in a New Dress
8.    Runaway (feat. Pusha T)
9.    Hell of a Life
10.    Blame Game (feat. John Legend & Pusha T)
11.    Lost in the World
12.    See Me Now (bonus)

If you've followed the blog at all then you notice that most of these tracks have already been released on the G.O.O.D. Friday series. However there is still hope that more new material will show up on the album. The set list is subject to change. Either way I'm gonna buy the album and so should you.

"In My Car (The Puff Bus)" - Wiz Khalifa Feat. Juicy J

Great smoke out song. I love the idea of Wiz getting with Juicy J for a collabo and it works. Somehow this guy finds a way to keep rapping about smoking weed and making it so people still want to here it.

Runaway - Kanye West

This is why Kanye West is my favorite artist. I love this kind of abstract style that Kanye has seemed to grow accustom to. For me, this is the kind of stuff that sets him apart from other artist. Regardless of the fact that his music is amazing, he's passionate. Selita Ebanks, the co-star of the short film said that "Kanye was professional and easy to work with...He knew exactly what he wanted to do." Whether or not you have been offened by Mr. West's antics in the past, I would still advise you to take a half hour out of your day to witness one of our generation's most talented artist at work.

"Don't Look Down" (Pheonix Story) - Kanye West Feat. Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, and Big Sean

Yet another G.O.O.D. Friday drop from Kanye and friends. This time one of my favorite artists of all time, Mos Def, is on the chorus. The song is pretty slow but it does the job for me.

Wizard Sleeve

Just showing love to one of my favorite duo's in the music business right now. Unfortunately, I feel that these guys don't get enough attention so here I am trying to spread the word. If you like any of this stuff just check out their mixtape "Gangsta Bass in the Big Smoke" and look for other collaborations too.

**MASHUP** "Chillin Heartbeats" - Wale Vs Grum

Old mashup but never really got much attention. Grum is the "bee's knees" and Wale is too so I figured I'd try and give the kids a second serving of this one to see if they'd bite this time. Take a listen. Also....video of "Through The Night" by Grum below just to emphasize Grum's genius. Shout out to Wal-E on the video knowledge.

"Make Up Sex" - Game Feat. Raheen DeVaughn (Produced by The Neptunes)

"Make Up Sex" - The Game Feat. Raheem DeVaughn (Produced by The Neptunes)

Well it is hump day so the song is approptiate. The Game is still putting out a lot of music and obviously having the Neptunes producing your track is going to help out. Besides, who doesn't like make-up sex? It's what the kids want.

"I Am He" - Diggy Simmons

Please co-sign Diggy Simmons. The son of a legend who is infinitely better than his older brother and easily as talented as most other rappers making millions has really caught my attention. I said it last time and I will stand by it....This kid is Drake's biggest competition once he's 18. "The game needs some stimulation, too much faking, artificial insemination."

"Dump (It's Like That) - Jadakiss Feat. 50 Cent

Two NY greats get together on this one to make a pretty hot track. 50 is defintely on his way back to big mainstream music and Jada is still the shit. I wish I knew how to spell that half laugh half cough sound he makes cause I would do it right now. Enjoy

Unreleased 2 Pac: "If They Love Their Kids"

Unreleased music from Pac who is obviously still alive.

"Inception" - Joe Budden

Warm it up. Microwave. Gettin hot. Summer. Ya'll ain't ready. Virgins. Haha more from Joe Budden Mood Musik 4. "Your future's at a stand still, look like there's a flat on that delorean". Joey kills this shit.

"Tangerine" Remix - Big Boi Feat. Rick Ross, T.I., Bun B and Khujo

Here goes the remix to Tangerine. Big Boi and T.I.'s verses are the same but half of the Buggati Boys, Khujo Goodie, and Bun B make it better IMO. I think Bun had the best verse on this one. Pretty good collabo all around though.

"Take One For The Team" - Kanye West Feat. Keri Hilson, CyHi Da Prynce, and Pusha T

Here's the newest G.O.O.D. Friday release. Kanye continues to take over the music industry and I love it.

"One" - Sky Ferreira

The Californian Blonde Beauty has already blown up in the UK with a few singles and now I think it's time the US gets in on the action. A real smooth song in the broad genre of dance music, maybe something to drive to. Take a listen.

"Know Your Name" - Wiz Khalifa

This is somethin different coming from Wiz. It's layed back but it's not talkin about smokin' a blunt. Taylor Gang or Die is all I really need to say though. Enjoy.

"Ray Ban Vision" - CyHi Da Prynce (produced by A-Trak)

It's no wonder Kanye West has made these two names a big part of his movement. A-Trak is one of my personal favorite DJ's and CyHi Da Prynce is rising to fame as fast as anyone. This track is coming off of the upcoming album Fool's Gold Vol. 1 set to be released on the 25th of this month.

These are the cyphers from the BET Awards. Some seriously big names getting together on this project to make it something special. The G.O.O.D. music guys didn't miss a beat with each of them showing up for the performance. The Father/Son cypher with Rev and Ice Cube was really cool to watch. Best verse goes to....it's tied between CyHi Da Prynce and Royce Da 5' 9" for me. You decide for yourself though.

"In For The Kill" - La Roux Feat. Kanye [Remix]

The original version of this song was one that, along with bulletproof, really put La Roux on the map. Well now we have Mr. West on the track to make it that much bigger. Enjoy a collaboration by two of the juggernauts in their respective feilds of music.

"Take Over Contol" - Afrojack Feat. Eva Simons

I recently re-found this song on my iPod and felt like posting it. This song came out just before the summer hit but its still makes me turn up my speakers everytime. Afrojack is a big name in House music now and Eva Simons is heavily sampled for her vocals. This is one of those songs that you wish didn't stop. Enjoy.

"One [Your Name]" - Swedish House Mafia Feat. Pharrell

This is probably the biggest song out there right now and has been for awhile. When I went to Electric Zoo Festival 2010 this was mixed up or sampled by almost every DJ that performed. I threw this ONE (get it) up just because they mashed it with some Pharrell vocals and it just makes it that much better.

"Barbra Streisand" - Ducksauce [A-trak & Armin Van Helden]

I love when these guys get together to form Duck Sauce...these DJ's stand alone as greats but when they get together you never know what's gonna happen. This song is so completely random that its funny, but at the same time its catchy as hell. They sample from an old 70's hit called "Gotta Go Home" and then as the title hints they drop in a snippet of vocals saying Barbra Streisand. Instant classic if you ask me.

"Maniac" - Kid Cudi Feat. Cage

This song speaks to me. Kid Cudi is always so deep...or maybe he's just so high that it just comes out that way but regardless I love all his music and this song is no exception.

"Don't Stop" - Child Rebel Soldiers [Kanye West & Pharrell & Lupe Fiasco]

The heavyweight trio of Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell combine powers once again as Child Rebel Soldier (CRS) to put out "Don't Stop". This one kind of blind sided me because the last thing put out by these guys under this name was the "Everybody Nose" remix in 2008. Apparently the CRS project is underway again. Praise the Lord, Lord, Lord.....you see how I did that.

Skrillex

Here's a couple songs from the EP by Skrillex, the producer/DJ who is taking over the scene with his own unique mixes and some remixes of already popular songs by artists such as La Roux and Lady Gaga....and he's making the songs much better I have to say. Check out the entire album and support the man. "Skrillex is what would happen if Bloody Beetroots and Boyz Noize had a child" -Pat Singley, renowned music enthusiast. WARNING: these songs are very intense and you should not listen to them if you are pregnant, have a history of heart problems, or high blood pressure. I am not responsible for any injuries that occur as a result of playing these songs.

"A City In Florida" - Deadmau5

Deadmau5 has been putting out quite a bit of new music and, with no surprise, everyone loves it. "A City in Florida" is sure to please just the state the song is about.

"Take Me As I Am" - Diggy Simmons Feat. Mishon

So to keep with the slow and low style of this Thursday morning so far I'm throwing this one up too. Diggy Simmons, son of Rev Run from legendary hip hop group Run DMC, has taken flight with his rap career. The kid has already worked with huge names in the business and don't think it's a benefit of having his last name....he's good. I'm calling it now, this kid will be a superstar in a couple years. Look for more on the blog from Diggy.

"First Time" - Tyga Feat. Pharrell

Here's a little love song for your Thursday morning. Pharrell and Tyga have been getting a lot of attention on my blog seperately so it seems that a higher power has intervened and brought the two artist together to collaborate on this track.

"Hypnotize You" - N.E.R.D. (produced by Daft Punk)

Easily one of my favorite tracks out there right now. This combines two of my favorite groups regardless of genre, in Daft Punk and N.E.R.D. I love this song, I've missed Pharrell on hooks and Daft Punk rules the world. End of story.

"Louder" - Chris Willis

If this isn't a club anthem then I don't know what is. Chris Willis, often time collaborator and vocalist for many of David Guetta's tracks, strikes gold with "Louder". The tracks been out for a little less than a month now but it's huge! Don't listen to this if you don't want a song stuck in your head for a couple of days.
